10 years ago we held the very first Winston's Wishes event at the Iron Horse Hotel. This event would put our organization on a trajectory to save countless Milwaukee pups, all because of one special boy, Mr. Winston.

Fast forward ten years later and we’re bringing it back full circle to partner with the Iron Horse Hotel again to celebrate a decade of helping Milwaukee pups find their happily ever after!

Join us Saturday, September 28th, as we reflect on and celebrate all of the amazing pups we’ve helped, people we’ve met, and differences we’ve made in our local community, while we look ahead to the next 10 years!

Tickets are $75 which includes Hors D’oeuvres, an open Tito’s Handmade Vodka Bar, deserts, prizes, and more!

We are asking guests to bring new Chuck It balls with them to the event as a way to honor Winston and his favorite thing in the entire world (aside from his dad of course!) Join Great Lakes Distillery on their patio on Sunday, August 25, from 12-6pm for National Dog Day!

Winston’s Wishes is honored to be the non-profit beneficiary for Great Lakes Distillery’s annual Dog Day on the patio. This year they will have a “pay what you want” pup cup available with all proceeds being donated to Winston’s Wishes

Let’s celebrate our favorite furry friends on a day full of dog-themed cocktails and tail wags.
- Outdoor Bar: Relax and mingle with fellow dogs and dog lovers on our gorgeous patio.

Mark your calendars for the Dog Days of Summer! On Wednesday, August 14th, the Brown Deer Farmers Market will be hosting a dog-themed day at the market with additional dog-themed vendors and animal rescue organizations.

The Brown Deer Pond will also open a few hours earlier for their Dog Swim! It will be a great time for all. The Market runs 10 AM to 3 PM, and the Dog Swim will begin at 3 PM.

WRW is a dog friendly fundraising event for Friends of MADACC. Runners will enjoy a chip-timed 5k run starting at 9:00 am for runners without dogs with runners with dogs following shortly after. Walkers can enjoy a 2 mile route starting immediately after the runners with or without a dog.

Following the run & walk there will be pet-friendly vendors, many adoptable dogs & lots of activities for both the 2 & 4 legged children in your family.

Winston's Wishes and Central Bark are excited to partner with Deer District BID 53 to bring Sunday Pupday at Deer District! to on Sunday, September 3rd, from 1 PM-3 PM.

The first 50 dog parents will receive a Pete's Pops popsicle for themselves and their furry friends. There will be a few enrichment games provided by Central Bark Sussex and you can grab some pics with your pups by the BUCKS letters The event is free to the public but donations to support Winston's Wishes mission of helping local pups in need are encouraged

Doggy Day returns to Deer District on Saturday, April 8, 2023!

Presented by Winston’s Wishes and Central Bark, Doggy Day will benefit Winston’s Wishes and their mission to help local pups in need. Winston’s Wishes is an all-volunteer ran, non-profit organization that focuses on supporting dogs who may not do well in the shelter environment, senior pups or dogs who may need a little extra care. Central Bark allows dogs to get the love and care to help them be healthy, happy and well-rounded. Services include day care, salon and spa, training and more.

Doggy Day will take place in Deer District on April 8, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second annual event will include local vendors, food and beverages, live entertainment, prizes and activities for all furry friends to enjoy. Doggy Day will be free and open to the public and their well-socialized, leashed dogs.

Save the date for the 1st annual Canine Carnival - FUN for the whole family. Carnival games for Kids and Pups, Caricatures, Face Painting, Rescue Groups, Shopping, Adoptables, Craft Beer, Food Trucks and more!

Stop by and see us there! We will have merch for sale and information on our current adoptables!
