There's a brand-new pet event coming to Henry W. Maier Festival Park this year! From the organization behind Doggy Day at Deer District - Winston's Wishes is excited to announce a brand-new celebration of pets, people and paws - Paw Fest at the Lakefront presented by Yutka Fence on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10am - 3pm.
This FREE, pet-friendly fest is all about wagging tails, tasty treats, and good fun. Well-socialized, leashed dogs are invited to bring their humans (and vice versa!) for a full day of pet-centered play, shopping, music, and more. (Please refrain from using retractable leashes as well as aversive collars such as prong, choke, & shock. Thank you!)
There will be activities for you and your pup to enjoy including:
• Over 60 local vendors to shop from
•Signature cocktails in the Vodka For Dog People VIP Lounge sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka
• Food trucks for both you AND your pup including Romero's Taco Truck, Tots on the Street, and Dog Gone Great (for your pup!)
• Music & Entertainment provided by DJ Gee-A and emcees Alley & Radar
• Lure Course for the pups, always a fan favorite!
Your pup will be barking about this event the rest of the year!
Paw Fest at the Lakefront is produced by Winston’s Wishes, a volunteer-run, non profit organization in Southern Wisconsin focused on dogs who aren’t doing well in the busy shelter environment, senior dogs or dogs who need extra medical care. As a proud MADACC transfer partner, Winston’s Wishes is focused on helping local Milwaukee pups find their happily ever after.
