Meet Myra!
Adoptable - Miss Myra is ready to find her happily ever after!
Thank you to Stephanie for volunteering your time & talents to showcase our pups! 💜
Meet Myra!
Myra is deaf and does have pretty severe separation anxiety, so finding a home and family who understands her struggles is our top priority. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and takes a monthly dose of Simparica Trio that protects against heartworm disease, flea & ticks, roundworms & hookworms. Her adoption fee is $275
Age: 2 - 3 years old
Weight: Around 55 lbs
Location: Janesville, WI area. Myra has been hanging out with us at the sanctuary while she waits for her new best friend!
Activity Level: Low to Medium. She is the perfect snuggle buddy and would choose lounging on the couch over anything else!
Likes: Myra absolutely loves kiddos and though she is quick to warm up, she is very timid when meeting new people. She has met plenty of other dogs during her time with us but it’s clear she lacks confidence and isn’t sure how exactly to be a dog so finding a home with another canine friend to help show her the ropes would be perfect!
Potty Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: No. Unfortunately due to her past, she is very fearful of the crate and would rather hang out with her humans
Her Favorites: Car rides, laying in the grass with her favorite toy, soaking up the sun. She absolutely loves to chase her ChuckIt Ball!
Ideal Home: Myra would love to find a home with a family she can hang out with all day. If you’re a homebody or work from home, Myra would be the perfect pup for you. Due to her hearing loss she is considered “special needs.”
